Synthesis and Local-Anesthetic Activity of New Arylpyruvic Acid Derivatives

N -{2[((1 Z )-1-{[(2, 6-dimethylphenyl)amino]carbonyl}-3-oxo-3-arylprop-1-en-1-yl)amino]ethyl}- N , N -dimethyl- 1-oxoethanaminium chlorides were synthesized by acylation of arylpyruvic acid enaminoamides. Compounds with high local-anesthetic activity were found among them.
