Zusammenfassung: | This reflection is the result of conversations about our experience as teacher educators and managers, always instigated by the ' green homes ' that the schools became. Part of this idea of ' putting the mad in a same house ' may have been built when spraying of school management process for experts in each area, as if it was possible to split people. Reviewing the steps of the building up of the understanding on school management nowadays, we want to reflect on possible parallels with "O alienista", Machado de Assis, that tells us that 'education is serious thing', 'out of reasoning only insanity is possible', the Green House as a miniature world and which had as its first function to 'organize' administration personnel. We seek reports of who understand the strikeout, palimpsests written in lines and underlines of the constitution of education in Brazil, unmasking a discourse of the norm to establish life, according to Morin (1999). Perhaps we can ask about what is said and what are the complaints, what individuals constituted and affected say about the matter, trying to find their position in the path taken, re-position in the present and bet on a future possibility not of imprisonment in green homes, but in autonomy and freedom, in the best sense of the Freirean (1996) term. A presente reflexao e fruto de conversas das autoras com suas experiencias de formadoras de educadores e gestores, sempre instigadas pelas 'casas verdes' em que as escolas se tornaram. Parte dessa ideia de 'meter os loucos em uma mesma casa' pode ter sido construida quando da pulverizacao do processo de gestao escolar em especialistas para cada area, como se fosse possivel dividir pessoas. Ao fazer uma revisao dos passos da constituicao do entendimento sobre gestao escolar, hoje, pretendemos refletir sobre paralelos possiveis com "O alienista", de Machado de |Assis, em que lemos 'educacao e coisa seria', 'fora da razao, so insania', e onde se ficcionaliza a casa verde como um mundo em miniatura, cuja funcao primeira, ao ser instituido, era a de 'organizar o pessoal da administracao'. Buscamos relatos de quem entende do riscado, em palimpsestos escritos nas linhas e entrelinhas da constituicao da educacao no Brasil, visando a desmascarar um discurso da norma para instituir vida, de acordo com Morin (1999).
