Zusammenfassung:This paper analyzed the characteristics of publications related to the topics Project Management and Sustainability. The survey was conducted in the Web of Science from ISI Web of Knowledge database, seeking to identify major themes, authors areas, types of documents, the sources title, year of publication, institutions, countries and languages of these publications, as well as the identification of "hot topics" related to the topics "Project Management and Sustainability" and listed the most cited publications with authors who publish on the topic searched. Data analysis was based on the index h-b calculations of Banks (2006). According to the results of this study, the number of publications has grown significantly over the period analyzed, focusing on the United States, with 97 % of the written English language publications and the main source periodic WIT Transactions on Ecology and the Environment. Among the 20 topics combined with the subjects surveyed, Management, Performance, Planning and Social had an index m [greater than or equal to] 2 and can then be classified as unique topics to reach not only in their own area of research. It was also found that the ten publications with the highest number of citations, and a reference in the subject researched, do not belong to the authors who publish on the subject.
