Zusammenfassung:The synthesis of compounds effective in the treatment of anxiety—depression disorders is described. It is established that 4,6-dimethyl-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1 H -pyrazolo[4,3- c ]pyridine-3-one hydrochloride ( IVa ) possesses combined antidepressant and anxiolytic properties. Advantages of IVa are low toxicity and the absence of side effects typical of antidepressants (elevated anxiety) and benzodiazepine anxiolytics (myorelaxant and sedative action).
