The association of bipolar disorder and neuro-Behcet syndrome/Noro-Behcet sendromu ve iki uclu bozukluk birlikteligi

The neurological involvement in Behcet's disease (BD) known as neuro-Behcet's syndrome (NBS) develop approximately in 5-15% of cases. Psychiatric symptoms in BD are an interesting issue for the researchers. In the reported studies the frequency of psychiatric symptoms such as depression and anxiety was estimated to be 8-50% during the course of BD, and psychosomatic symptoms could be seen simultaneously in 86% of patients. Despite the high rate of psychosomatic symptoms in BD, few cases of BD with bipolar disorder (BD) have been published in the literature. In this article, a case of NBS with BD is presented. BH'ndaki psikiyatrik belirtiler de arastirmacilar icin ilgi cekici olmus, yapilan calismalarda hastaligin seyri esnasinda anksiyete ve depresyon gibi psikiyatrik belirti gorulme sikliginin %8- 50 arasinda oldugu ve hastalarin %86'sinda eszamanli psikosomatik belirtilerin gorulebildigi bildirilmistir. BH'nda bu kadar yuksek oranlarda psikosomatik belirti gorulmesine ragmen, literaturde BH ile iki uclu bozuklugun (iUB) birlikte goruldugune dair az sayida yayin bulunmaktadir.
