La nouvelle gouvernance des langues officielles au Canada : entre exigences et circonstances

This article explores the complex relationship between the Official Languages Act and the govemance of official languages in Canada. It shows that the existing bundle of mechanisms and initiatives are not prescribed by the Act but are instead an outcome of political choices and circumstances. Distinguishing the Act from the govemance of languages can make way for political and administrative innovation in official languages in Canada.
