Zusammenfassung:A series of new 3a',6a'-dihydro-2' H -spiro[indole-3,1'-pyrrolo[3,4- c ]pyrrole]-2,4',6'(1 H ,3' H ,5' H )- triones has been synthesized by cycloaddition of azomethine ylides, obtained from isatins and acyclic aliphatic and sulfur-containing α-amino acids, to maleimides. The direction of the cycloaddition was determined and the chemical properties of the obtained spiro products were examined.
