Zusammenfassung:The objective of this study was to characterize and evaluate the post harvest quality of cv. Tainung 01 papaya Formosa, traded in different types of establishments in Mossoro city, RN. The fruits were collected in three types of establishments. The days of the collections were the blocks and the local marketing the treatments. There was a high incidence of spots, insults, deformation and decay that undertook the external appearance of fruits. The external appearance did not compromise the quality of physical chemistry papaya regardless of the type of the establishment.
