Le processus systemique du developpement dramaturgique de la troupe du jour

The purpose of this article is to reflect on the manner in which the Troupe du Jour plans and structures theatrical development that leads to the emergence, consolidation, and artistic recognition of original plays written by Saskatchewan authors. Conceptually, it compares the design of the theatrical development with the model proposed by Gosselin et al. The main method of data collection is the individual semi-directed interview conducted with nine participants, including three theatrical advisors, five playwrights, and the artistic and administrative director of the Troupe du Jour. The analysis of these accounts allows us to understand how the process frames the creative dynamics within the writers' circle (Cercle des ecrivains), the writing labs, and during production. The analysis also allows us to qualify the process of theatrical development established by this theatre company as "systematic."
