Plant nutrition and growth regulation by CO2 enrichment

Carbon dioxide is a major nutrient for plant growth. Increasing the level of CO2 in the atmosphere enhances its assimilation during photosynthesis, favors carboxylation leading to starch storage and accelerates growth of plants.
