Zusammenfassung:During the second half of the 20th century, the economic and technological push characteristic of the Second World War, which led to a diffusion of new materials and an acceleration of the building site, also in the restoration sector. These phenomena are associated with the presence on the construction site of a workforce often equipped with little specific training, due to the progressive distancing from the skills of traditional craftsmanship, which is linked, especially in this first quarter of the 21st century, to the risk of exhaustion and disappearance of a generation of artisans with consequent loss of skills and knowledge of past practices. However, in these first decades of the 21st century we can find a change in trend in relation to a re-evaluation of the production of materials linked to tradition and a slow but progressive request for a renewed relationship between professional categories with a view to the recovery of "know-how" of the past through training exchange methods between sector operators. Keywords Training, Know-how, Skills.
