Zusammenfassung:Introduction: The bodybuilder is an athlete who manages to induce several anthropometric changes over the years with unorthodox methods of eating and training, alternating between phases of muscle mass gain (Offseason) and fat loss with maintenance of lean mass (pre-contest). Objective: Assess the anthropometric and dietary profile of bodybuilders, considering the phases in which the athletes were. Materials and methods: Fifteen athletes, aged between 20 and 31 years old, of both sexes from the city of Vitoria da Conquista, Bahia and region participated in the study. Anthropometric measurements were taken to assess the food profile andskinfold measurements. Then, food record measurements were made, quantitatively evaluating the macronutrients of the diets, subsequently identifying the phase of each athlete. Results: In the present study, an energy imbalance was found among off-season and pre-contest athletes with mean values ranging from 4307.63 to 2667.35 Kcal / day, respectively. It was foundthat in both groups only the intake of lipids was within recommendations, with an excess of protein consumption and low consumption of carbohydrates. Bodybuilders were overweight according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) and percentage of fat within the recommendations. Conclusion: The anthropometric profile of the athletes is in accordance with the findings of the literature, however, great imbalances were found between the intake of macronutrients made by the athletes and the recommended recommendations. Introducao: O fisiculturista e um atleta que consegue induzir diversas mudanzas antropometricas ao longo dos anos com metodos nao ortodoxos de alimentacao e treinos, alterna entre fases de ganho de massa muscular (Off-season) e perda de gordura com manutencao da massa magra (pre-contest). Objetivo: Avaliar o perfil antropometrico e alimentar dos fisiculturistas, considerando as fases em que os atletas se encontravam. Materiais e metodos: Participaram do estudo quinze atletas, com idade entre 20 e 31 anos, de ambos os sexos da cidade de Vitoria da Conquista, Bahia e regiao. Para avaliacao do perfil alimentar foram realizadas medidas antropometricas e medidas de dobras cutaneas. Em seguida foram feitas afericoes de registro alimentar avaliando quantitativamente os macronutrientes das dietas, identificando posteriormente a fase de cada atleta.
