description | Introduction: Arterial hypertension (AH) is a chronic disease that affects the heart, characterized by elevated blood pressure levels in the arteries, being one of the main causes of death in the world. Objectives: To report the experience of nursing students in an educational action on "Healthy lifestyle habits to control blood pressure for hypertensive users of primary health care" in Belem do Para. Description of the experience: The action was carried out by students nursing during practices of the collective health discipline on the topic "Healthy habits to prevent or control hypertension" to hypertensive users of a health unit in Belem do Para, on July 13, 2022, in the waiting room of the unit itself . Flit charts and educational folders were used as teaching material. Before starting the exhibition, four questions were asked: 1) Do you carry out your treatment correctly? 2) Do you attend follow-up appointments? 3) Do you consider your diet to be healthy? Do you perform any regular physical activity? To evaluate the impact of the educational action, the QUIZ tool was applied at the end of the exhibition, whose participants' responses were signaled through the use of signs with the words right and/or wrong. Result: 12 (twelve) users participated in the action. Regarding the answers to question number one, the majority reported not taking the correct treatment for hypertension. Regarding question number two, 40% of those present reported not attending follow-up appointments. Regarding question number three, only 10% reported following nutritional guidelines and adopting a healthy diet, such as a low- sodium and low-calorie diet. As for question number four, 80% said they walk and ride bicycles, but as a means of transportation and not as physical activities. With regard to the application of the "QUIZ", it was found that 90% of the participants answered the questions correctly on the topic covered, noting that the educational action was of great value in increasing the level of information on prevention and health promotion. Conclusion: Health education about healthy habits to prevent or control hypertension was of great importance for hypertensive users to increase their knowledge and apply it in everyday practice, directly influencing the improvement of quality of life. Objetivos: Relatar a experiencia vivenciada por academicos de enfermagem em uma acao educativa sobre "Habitos de vida saudaveis para o controle da pressao arterial aos usuarios hipertensos da atencao primaria de saude" em Belem do Para. Descricao da experiencia: A acao foi realizada por academicos de enfermagem durante as praticas da disciplina saude coletiva sobre o tema "Habitos saudaveis para prevenir ou controlar a hipertensao", aos usuarios hipertensos de uma unidade de saude de Belem do Para, no dia 13 de julho de 2022, na sala de espera da propria unidade. Como material didatico utilizou-se flit chart e folders educativos. En cuanto a la aplicacion del "QUIZ", se constato que el 90% de los participantes respondieron correctamente las preguntas sobre el tema tratado, destacando que la accion educativa fue de gran valor para incrementar el nivel de informacion sobre prevencion y promocion de la salud. Objectives: To report the experience of nursing students in an educational action on "Healthy lifestyle habits to control blood pressure for hypertensive users of primary health care" in Belem do Para. Description of the experience: The action was carried out by students nursing during practices of the collective health discipline on the topic "Healthy habits to prevent or control hypertension" to hypertensive users of a health unit in Belem do Para, on July 13, 2022, in the waiting room of the unit itself . Flit charts and educational folders were used as teaching material. Before starting the exhibition, four questions were asked: 1) Do you carry out your treatment correctly? 2) Do you attend follow-up appointments? 3) Do you consider your diet to be healthy? Do you perform any regular physical activity? To evaluate the impact of the educational action, the QUIZ tool was applied at the end of the exhibition, whose participants' responses were signaled through the use of signs with the words right and/or wrong. Result: 12 (twelve) users participated in the action. Regarding the answers to question number one, the majority reported not taking the correct treatment for hypertension. Regarding question number two, 40% of those present reported not attending follow-up appointments. Regarding question number three, only 10% reported following nutritional guidelines and adopting a healthy diet, such as a low- sodium and low-calorie diet. As for question number four, 80% said they walk and ride bicycles, but as a means of transportation and not as physical activities. With regard to the application of the "QUIZ", it was found that 90% of the participants answered the questions correctly on the topic covered, noting that the educational action was of great value in increasing the level of information on prevention and health promotion. Conclusion: Health education about healthy habits to prevent or control hypertension was of great importance for hypertensive users to increase their knowledge and apply it in everyday practice, directly influencing the improvement of quality of life. Introducao: A hipertensao arterial (HA) e uma doenca cronica que afeta o coracao, caracterizada pela elevacao dos niveis de pressao sanguinea nas arterias, sendo uma das principais causas de morte no mundo. Objetivos: Relatar a experiencia vivenciada por academicos de enfermagem em uma acao educativa sobre "Habitos de vida saudaveis para o controle da pressao arterial aos usuarios hipertensos da atencao primaria de saude" em Belem do Para. Descricao da experiencia: A acao foi realizada por academicos de enfermagem durante as praticas da disciplina saude coletiva sobre o tema "Habitos saudaveis para prevenir ou controlar a hipertensao", aos usuarios hipertensos de uma unidade de saude de Belem do Para, no dia 13 de julho de 2022, na sala de espera da propria unidade. Como material didatico utilizou-se flit chart e folders educativos. Antes de iniciar a exposicao foram feitas quatro perguntas: 1) Voce faz seu tratamento corretamente? 2) Voce comparece as consultas de acompanhamento? 3) Voce considera sua alimentacao saudavel? Voce realiza alguma atividade fisica regular? Para avaliar o impacto da acao educativa foi aplicada a ferramenta QUIZ no final da exposicao, cujas respostas dos participantes foram sinalizadas por meio do uso de placas com as palavras certo e ou errado. Resultado: Participaram da acao 12 (doze) usuarios. Quanto as respostas da pergunta de numero um, a maioria informou nao fazer o tratamento correto para hipertensao. Sobre a pergunta de numero dois, 40% dos presentes relataram nao comparecer as consultas de acompanhamento. Com relacao a questao de numero tres, apenas 10% referiram seguir as orientacoes nutricionais e adotar uma alimentacao saudavel, como dieta hipossodica e hipocalorica. Quanto a questao numero quatro, 80% afirmaram realizar caminhadas e andar de bicicletas, mas como meio de locomocao e nao como atividades fisicas. No que diz respeito a aplicacao do "QUIZ" detectou-se que 90% dos participantes responderam corretamente as perguntas sobre a tematica abordada, constatando que a acao educativa foi de grande valia para elevar o grau de informacao sobre a prevencao e promocao a saude. Conclusao: A educacao em saude sobre habitos saudaveis para prevenir ou controlar a hipertensao foi de grande importancia para que os usuarios hipertensos elevassem seu conhecimento e o aplicassem na pratica do dia a dia, influenciando diretamente na melhoria da qualidade de vida. Introduccion: La hipertension arterial (HA) es una enfermedad cronica que afecta al corazon, caracterizada por niveles elevados de presion arterial en las arterias, siendo una de las principales causas de muerte en el mundo. Objetivos: Relatar la experiencia de estudiantes de enfermeria en una accion educativa sobre "Habitos de vida saludables para el control de la presion arterial en usuarios hipertensos de la atencion primaria de salud" en Belem do Para. Descripcion de la experiencia: La accion fue realizada por estudiantes de enfermeria durante las practicas. de la disciplina de salud colectiva sobre el tema "Habitos saludables para prevenir o controlar la hipertension" a usuarios hipertensos de una unidad de salud de Belem do Para, el 13 de julio de 2022, en la sala de espera de la propia unidad. Como material didactico se utilizaron rotafolios y carpetas educativas. Antes de iniciar la exposicion se formularon cuatro preguntas: 1) ?Realizas correctamente tu tratamiento? 2) ?Asiste a citas de seguimiento? 3) ?Consideras que tu alimentacion es saludable? ?Realiza alguna actividad fisica habitual? Para evaluar el impacto de la accion educativa se aplico la herramienta QUIZ al final de la exposicion, cuyas respuestas de los participantes fueron senalizadas mediante el uso de carteles con las palabras bien y/o mal. Resultado: 12 (doce) usuarios participaron de la accion. Respecto a las respuestas a la pregunta numero uno, la mayoria refirio no tomar el tratamiento correcto para la hipertension. Respecto a la pregunta numero dos el 40% de los presentes reporto no asistir a las citas de seguimiento. Respecto a la pregunta numero tres, solo el 10% informo seguir pautas nutricionales y adoptar una dieta saludable, como una dieta baja en sodio y calorias. En cuanto a la pregunta numero cuatro, el 80% afirmo caminar y andar en bicicleta, pero como medio de transporte y no como actividad fisica. En cuanto a la aplicacion del "QUIZ", se constato que el 90% de los participantes respondieron correctamente las preguntas sobre el tema tratado, destacando que la accion educativa fue de gran valor para incrementar el nivel de informacion sobre prevencion y promocion de la salud. Conclusion: La educacion en salud sobre habitos saludables para prevenir o controlar la hipertension fue de gran importancia para que los hipertensos incrementaran sus conocimientos y los aplicaran en la practica diaria, influyendo directamente en la mejora de la calidad de vida.
