Tetratin Is a New Reagent for Solvent-Free Alkynylation of Imines

The first ZnCl[sub.2] -catalyzed alkynylation of aldimines with tetra(phenylethynyl)tin was achieved under solvent-free conditions. The present methodology provides propargylamines in 38–62% yields.
