Zusammenfassung:The energy spectra of fullerene С.sub.50 and exohedral fullerene С.sub.50Cl.sub.10 with symmetry group D.sub.5h are obtained within the Hubbard model in the static fluctuation approximation. Their energy states are classified and allowed transitions in the energy spectra of the С.sub.50 and С.sub.50Cl.sub.10 molecules are determined using group-theory methods. The experimentally observed optical absorption bands of exohedral fullerene С.sub.50Cl.sub.10 are interpreted based on the energy spectra of the С.sub.50Cl.sub.10 molecule.
