Zusammenfassung:The results of studies of alkaline borosilicate glasses designed to attenuate electromagnetic radiation in the microwave range and possess high thermal stability are reported. It is established that the chemical composition of the experimental glasses influences their CLTE and electrophysical properties (absorption coefficient and standing-wave ratio). The glass composition characterized by the required thermal stability and microwave absorption of at least 0.7 dB/mm was determined based on the results of these studies. The proposed glass composition can be recommended for fabricating radioprotective products.
