Zusammenfassung:An IR-spectroscopic method was developed for the determination of the degree of nitration of [beta]-cyclodextrin and made it possible to determine the total amount of ON[O.sub.2] groups in partial nitrates of [beta]-cyclodextrin. The relative error of the method was 2%. The range of measurement of the degree of nitration was 33-100% of nitrate groups per [beta]-cyclodextrin molecule.
