A geographical tour of the songs by Chico Buarque/Um passeio geografico pelas cancoes de Chico Buarque

Chico Buarque's lyrics convey meanings and bring the world to light. They also have geographical strength to dialogue with the world, places and everyday life, starting from the relations that make up life. Geographical encounters with the lyrics make the reading of Chico Buarque's work possible from a humanistic geographical perspective. This paper presents reflections on Geographies of the world show by optical character 'malandro' from Chico Buarque in different nuances. The subject and the world coexist. The place, that is the space with which the subject has relations with, has a lot of meanings and values that are inseparable from the subject who experiences them. The study on the Chico Buarque and geographies revealed the lyrics of his songs is welcomed in this work from the phenomenological method of Humanistic Geography. Phenomenology currently stands as one of the research methods of geographical studies guided by the understanding of the human world by studying the relationships of people with nature, its geographical behavior, and their feelings and ideas about space and place. The place has a meaning and constitutes an essential part of the human existence. Os encontros geograficos com as letras das cancoes sao possibilidades de leitura da obra do artista pela perspectiva geografica humanista. Este ensaio e norteado pelo objetivo de refletir sobre as geografias de mundo reveladas pela otica do personagem 'malandro' de Chico Buarque em diferentes nuances.
