Zusammenfassung: | A method for manganese determination in iron concentrates by reactor activation analysis has been developed, on the basis of discounting the contribution of the .sup.56Fe(n,p).sup.56Mn to the total .sup.56Mn activity through the .sup.56Mn/.sup.54Mn activity ratio, employing the data on the nuclear constants involved. The possibility of using .sup.59Fe as internal monitor, for the calculation of manganese concentration, is evaluated for different values of both the [Formula omitted] ratios and the α parameter. |
