Solid-Solution Hardening of the Surface Layer of Titanium Alloys. Part 2. Effect on Metallophysical Properties

Titanium alloy VT1-0 is studied as an example for showing the evolution of the microstructure of the surface layer as a function of the level of controlled solid-solution hardening. The special features of such structures are determined.
