Zusammenfassung:An analysis is made of the processes used on a rolling mill at the Belarus Metallurgical Plant to subdivide slabs lengthwise in the production line. New schemes are proposed for the location of the rolls used for subdividing slabs by the slitting process, and a method is developed to determine the dimensions of these rolls’ working profile.
