Zusammenfassung:For making anti-friction composite materials, we propose using combination one-and-a-half layer fabrics with an extra weft based on UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) yarns instead of commercial fabric containing expensive and not readily available Polyfen yarns. We have established that using UHMWPE yarns in the fabric structure makes it possible to substantially improve its abrasion resistance and tensile strength. We have determined the basic physical and mechanical parameters of the properties and the geometric parameters of the structure for the commercial and experimental samples of combination fabrics, which will allow us in future to simplify the process of designing these materials and selecting a practical fabric structure.
