Steve Larkin and Mantz were the keynote speakers at the 14th Pacific Rim First Year in Higher Education Conference held in Fremantle from 29 June to 1 July, 2011. They joined the journal editors at the conclusion of the main conference program to explore some of the key themes raised in their addresses.
