Zusammenfassung: | Results of laser sensing of the altitude of the lower cloud boundary (LCB) above dry land and sea are presented along with results of their comparative analysis. Results of three series of LCB measurements above dry land and above a water area in the Atlantic Ocean are presented. It is shown that within the range of fluctuations the LCB for clouds above dry land (300 m) is higher than for clouds above the sea (50 m). It is established that the lower boundaries of clouds above dry land are located higher than for clouds above the sea. |
