Zusammenfassung:The aminomethylation of 6-amino-4-aryl-2-oxo-1, 2-dihydropyridine-3, 5-dicarbonitriles by treatment with primary amines and an excess of formaldehyde resulted in the formation of 3-R-8-aryl-6-oxo1, 3, 4, 6-tetrahydro-2H-pyrido[1, 2-a][1, 3, 5]triazine-7, 9-dicarbonitriles. The structure of 6-oxo-3, 8-diphenyl-1, 3, 4, 6-tetrahydro-2H-pyrido[1, 2-a] [1, 3, 5]triazine-7, 9-dicarbonitrile was investigated by X-ray structural analysis.
