Effect of carbon on mechanical properties and resistance to stress relaxation of steel spring strips
The effect of carbon content ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 % on mechanical properties of steel spring strips is considered. The relaxation resistance of hardened spring strips is studied as a function of the tempering temperature and of the carbon content.
