Zusammenfassung:The use of an optical dust meter, based on the scattering of light by the dust particles, is proposed to suppress the nonrespirable fraction when measuring its mass concentration in the operating medium. The method improves the separation of the dust by replacing the mechanical parts of the dust meter (the cyclone) by electronic signal processing.
