Improving the efficiency of excitation of ablation plasma spectra with laser irradiation of materials using an axicon/lens system
We have studied the effect of laser beam focusing on near-surface laser plasma formation. We show that using an axicon-based optical system allows us to increase the intensity of emission lines from the target components while simultaneously attenuating the emission lines of the air plasma.
