Zusammenfassung: | Results are presented for experimental verification of engineering system instability development during turning polymer material workpieces. The nature of the correlation between cutting regime, form of previous workpiece preparation, and turned machined surface roughness, is established. Existence is confirmed by experiment of those caprolon turning regimes whose implementation leads to transfer of an engineering system lathe-fixture-tool-workpiece (LFTW) into an unstable condition, indicated by a sharp reduction in machined surface quality. |
