Zusammenfassung:Strength methods of analyzing the structure of a vessel housing of a reverse-osmotic module for the separation and cleaning of industrial aqueous solutions are proposed. Geometric parameters of the housing are optimized on the basis of computational formulas derived from the condition whereby the design is discretely uniformly strong and of minimum weight. A comparative evaluation of the stress state of the housing is given on the basis of beam theory, the moment theory of shells and plates, and the finite-element method.
