Zusammenfassung:The question that motivated this research was to understand how it developed and the process of internationalization of Menendez Amerino, taking as input for analysis of this phenomenon is the Nordic Model of Internationalization. The strategy of qualitative case study was considered appropriate to clarify the research problem and to investigate the process and dynamics of the phenomenon of internationalization in a longitudinal perspective. Considering this, interviews were established that guided the study. Thirteen interviews were conducted with six respondents that make up the research subjects. We used the method of structured interviews to collect data on the spot, individually, with the interviewees. Data analysis and interpretation allowed the description of the phenomenon investigated. There were four stages in the remarkable life story of the company studied. Most of the analyzed period, the process of training strategies based on logical incrementalism was present in the organization. The predisposition of the company for the behavior entrepreneurship was grounded in backgrounds of the founders of the foreign market. From the standpoint of the Swedish Model, it is clear that the company behaved differently in two moments: first, supporting, and in the second, partially disagree. The use of networks as a tool for internationalization, it became clear from the foundation of the company, and this is a crucial variable for its strategic work internationally. A questao que motivou esta pesquisa foi a de entender como se desenvolveu o processo de internacionalizacao da Menendez Amerino. Como subsidio dessa analise, utilizou-se o Modelo Nordico de Internacionalizacao. A estrategia metodologica de estudo de caso qualitativo foi considerada apropriada para esclarecer o problema de pesquisa e para investigar o processo e a dinamica do fenomeno da internacionalizacao, em uma perspectiva longitudinal. Considerando-se isso, foram definidas entrevistas que guiaram O estudo. Realizaram-se treze entrevistas com os seis respondentes que compoem os sujeitos da pesquisa. Utilizou-se o metodo de entrevistas semiestruturadas para a coleta de dados in loco, individualmente, com os sujeitos entrevistados. A analise dos dados possibilitou a descricao e a interpretacao do fenomeno investigado. Encontraram-se quatro fases marcantes na trajetoria de vida da empresa estudada. Na maior parte do periodo
