Zusammenfassung: | Selecting the best musician or singer always is so hard and doesn't have a specific method for evaluation. The purpose of this paper is to propose a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approach for selecting the best multi-role artist of rock bands. Multi-role is referred to a singer in a band who besides singing does some other key roles such as playing, composing, etc. One of the limitations of this study is primary selection of multi-role artists and this problem was solved by using the Delphi method. This study use some factors for evaluating that are selected among expert comment and literatures. Two MCDM methods are then used in the selection process. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to determine the relative weights of evaluation criteria and the extension of the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is applied for ranking multi-role artists. This study can be used as a pattern for selecting other groups of music artists. |
