Zusammenfassung: | Crude oil acids, isolated from high-acid crude oil, were decarboxylated in a continuous flow-through reactor in the presence of nanosized titanium dioxide. We studied the effect of the reaction temperature on the acid number of the product and the acid conversion. The product obtained, with low acidity and high calorific value and representing a mixture of naphthenic hydrocarbons, is proposed as a component of jet fuels. |
