Zusammenfassung:Excitation of the [TE.sub.11] mode in a triode with a virtual cathode is theoretically and experimentally studied. Structures of fields, resonance frequencies, excitation of electromagnetic waves, and energy transmission are considered. It is shown that, in planar-coaxial triodes with a virtual cathode, the [TE.sub.11] single-mode generation is possible.
