Zusammenfassung:SbCl.sub.5 has been shown to be versatile reagent especially as a Lewis acid catalyst in many organic reactions such as electrophilic aromatic substitution, isomerization and rearrangements, halogenation, preparation of carbocation and onium ion complexes etc. Therefore in this paper applicably of antimony(V) chloride in organic transformations reactions is reviewed.
