British Business History: A Review of the Periodical Literature for 1998

The arrival of a number of new journals provides the opportunity to consider afresh a definition of business history and to reflect on its success in calling forth additional and exciting avenues for publication. Business history took some steps in 1998 towards consolidating its professional and academic identity, and in constructing a definition of itself which reflects the eclectic nature of its approach.
