Zusammenfassung:An experiment was conducted to determine the in vivo functions of microtubule-associated protein 4 (MAP4) and its role in cell cycle and differentiation. The MAP4 was believed to be responsible in the regulation pf microtubule (MT) dynamics, organization and transport processes. Results revealed that MTs were more stabilized by full-length MAP4 compared to MT-binding domain of MAP4. The overexpression of MAP4 was linked to MT stabilization, cell growth parameters and inhibition of vesicle motility.
