Party and People United

The Communist Party is greatly concerned with economics. The period of time following the previous elections of the Supreme Soviet was a fruitful one. Factories were modernized, miles of gas pipelines were built, agricultural improvements were made and a nuclear reactor constructed. Eighty percent of the national income of the Soviet Union is spent on the peoples' well-being. Education, health services and housing upkeep are priority items. Among these are production, construction and economic management. Insuring safety and peace is of utmost importance. The escalating of tensions by the United States is dangerous.
