Japanese foreign direct investment in India: an institutional theory

A study was conducted to examine the history of Japan's investments in India. It is believed that the flexibility and pragmatism of Japanese companies was good for India's growing market. Regulations on foreign direct investment (FDI) in post-independence India are also analyzed.
