Zusammenfassung:E.W. Scripps Co Chmn Charles Scripps has retired and will become chairman of the executive committee of the board of directors. Scripps also will continue to serve as chairman of the Edward W. Scripps Trust, the body that has the controlling interest in the media company that consists of newspapers, television stations and cable TV systems. Scripps was succeeded as chairman by CEO and President Lawrence Leser, who now has the titles of chairman and CEO. Chief Operating Officer William Burleigh will take over as president.
