Zusammenfassung:This paper reports the results of a study conducted with Puerto Rican, Mexican, and Central American migrants. The study identified the perception of migrants in regard to the education of their children. Five hundred ninety-eight interviews and over 2,500 hours of data collection were analyzed. The results of the study indicate that there are four major factors that affect the educational performance of migrant school children: ecological; educational; psychological; and economical.
