Zusammenfassung:In this paper I am particularly interested in exploring the function of affect and emotions in organizational activity, affective characteristics that can impact work behavior, the effect of emotion on group outcomes, and the interplay of emotions and cognitions. The purpose of this article is to gain a deeper understanding of organizational limitations on emotions, the character of cognitive-emotional interactions, the nonverbal, emotional configuration for social interplays affected by evolutionary processes, and critical organizational consequences generated by affect. The literature on the modulation of emotions and behavioral reactions by social and organizational processes, the effect of affect on decision making, and emotions in real-world circumstances is relevant to this discussion. The findings of this study have implications for consequences of the interaction of motivation and emotion for organizations, the impact of mood on performance, processes associated with emotional control, and the function played by emotion in organizational settings.
