Zusammenfassung:Due to the increasing technology and product complexity more and more companies cooperate for their R&D activities with external organizations. This leads to interorganizational R&D-projects representing temporary organizations. Research questions on these projects are amongst others open concerning the practices and rules of conduct. With a culture-aware project management, practices and rules of conduct which are beneficial for cooperation as well as for innovation can be build. These are essential for interorganizational R&D-projects. Thus, the research question is how interorganizational R&D-projects can project culture- aware be managed. To answer this question, an overview of the theoretical background about R&D-project management, human action systems and levels of collaboration, as well as about culture and behavior is given. Based on this theoretical background the project-culture aware management model is developed. This model has two parts. At the first part, the area is shown in which the project culture results. The second part shows how the factors for a probably cooperative and innovative behavior can be designed within this area.
