CO2-Wertstrom. Integrierte ökologische und ökonomische Bewertung und Optimierung

Rising energy prices and societal pressure towards sustainable products force an ecological optimization of production. Known approaches of life cycle assessment are only partly suitable due to the imprecise data base and the singular focus on ecological aspects. The CO value stream method is based on process-related CO ratios, allow-ing a more accurate assessment of the specific CO emissions. At the same time, the CO value stream method brings out the ecological and economic point of view of the process. Additionally it provides design guidelines for the optimization.
