Zusammenfassung: | As yet the design, implementation and commissioning of material handling systems is complex work requiring not only various design and programming tools but also multiple simulation and test tools because no integrated verification environment was available. The approach presented in this paper shows how the system's functionality verification can be verified with a single verification environment throughout the different design and implementation phases. During the layout design phase the verification environment can be used to obtain performance indicators whereas the same model is applied afterwards to test the material handling software as well as the PLC program controlling the conveyors. |
