Zusammenfassung:Topping and chemical sucker control increases the content of nicotine, and reducing sugars decreases the content of leaf inorganic components, while the total N content is lower as a result of this agrotechnical measure. The content and the relation of tobacco leaf chemical components can be improved with chemical sucker control, without topping.
