Zusammenfassung: | The seasonal pattern of pasture production responses to liming was examined in 9 field trials. The largest relative responses to liming occurred in the summer and/or autumn and the smallest responses, or depressions, occurred in the spring. It was not possible from these trials to determine the causes of the observed seasonal responses. The practical significance of this effect of liming is briefly discussed. |
