Zusammenfassung:This study is carried out to determine ectoparasites found at domestic pigeons in Van area. The ectoparasites, which were collected from 65 male and 50 female pigeons, were analyzed and identified. As a result of the ectoparasitic examination, it was found that all 115 pigeons were highly infested with Columbicola columbae. Bu çalışma, Van yöresinde bit enfestasyonu görülen evcil güvercinlerde yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla 65'i erkek 50'si dişi güvercin üzerinden toplanan bitler stereomikroskop altında incelenmiş ve tür teşhisleri yapılmıştır. Ektoparaziter muayenesi yapılan 115 güvercinin hepsinin Columbicola columbae ile yoğun şekilde enfeste oldukları tespit edilmiştir.
