The results of the study of genetic sources for pea selection from All-Russian Institute of Plant Industry collection in the Middle Urals

The aim of the research is the screening of new genetic sources and donors of valuable traits for peas. Pea varieties originated from the All-Russian Institute of Plant Industry world collection were tested in Sverdlpvsk region in 2011–2014. The following varieties showed the excess to the standard Marathon in the group of leaf forms by crop performance: Talisman (Ukraine) – by 33%, Tyumen (Russia) – by 25%, Chishminsky 229 (Russia) – by 22%, Talovec 65 (Russia) – by 19%, Soyuz 2 (Russia) – by 18%. Seeds of these varieties possess the genome of no fall off (def), in addition to variety Tyumen with conventional seeds. Superior protein content in grain to the standard have varieties Chishminsky 229 (24.3%) and Talovets 65 (24.0%). The smallest lesion by ascochytosis under natural conditions was observed in the variety Chishminsky 229 (15%), the highest – in Soyuz 2 (21%). Varieties exceeding the standard Krasnous by crop performance in the group of short mustachioed ones were Yamal (Russia) – by 15%, Krasnoufimsky 11 (Russia) – by 12%, Classic (France) – by 8%, Falenskyusatyi (Russia) – by 7%,Talovets 70 (Russia) – by 7%. The varieties Krasnous (standard) and Krasnoufimsky11 have a gene of no fall off (def), other varieties have normal seeds. The highest protein content in grain varieties Krasnoufimsky 11 (22.7%) and Falenskyusatyi (22.7%). Productivity of the Spartak variety from the group of lines of morphotype"chameleon" was at the level of the standard Krasnous (260 g/m2). The seeds of line AZ-1397 have a gene of no fall off, other lines have normal seeds. The highest protein content in grain (22.2%) was revealed in the line AZ-1397. Цель исследования – выделение новых генетических источников и доноров особо ценных признаков гороха. Образцы гороха из Мировой коллекции ВИР изучали в Свердловской обл. в 2011–2014 гг. По продуктивности в группе листочковых форм показали превышение к стандарту Марафон следующие сорта: Талисман (Украина) – на 33%, Тюменец (Россия) – на 25%, Чишминский 229 (Россия) на – 22%, Таловец 65 (Россия) – на 19%, Союз 2 (Россия) – на 18%. Семена этих сортов обладают геном неосыпаемости (def), кроме сорта Тюменец, имеющего обычные семена. По содержанию белка в зерне превосходят стандарт сорта Чишминский 229 (24,3%) и Таловец 65 (24,0%). Наименьшее поражение аскохитозом в естественных условиях у сорта Чишминский 229 (15%), наибольшее – у Союз 2 (21%).
