Zusammenfassung: | In most countries, urban forests have been mainly used for recreation, at least, during the last 30 to 40 years. The information on the actions to be taken to prevent these problems is related to the concept of carrying capacity - a basic issue in resources management - that is the link between demand for outdoor recreation and supply of recreational opportunities.
